Auditel works with any company to do as little or as much as needed to conduct a full investigation of the telecommunications bills and contract review. Here is one story of many that should make you consider a professional audit versus "do it yourself telephone auditing".
Auditel was investigating over 130 telephone lines for an automobile dealership in Orlando in late 1990's. Auditel identified 25 phone lines in question and wanted to conduct a traffic study in order to determine their usage. Prior to the traffic study we wanted to tag the lines at the dmarc, to make certain they were actually receiving service at the customer premise. The Manager of the store recommended to save time that he would have his vendor find the lines and call us back with the information.
What would you do in this situation?
A. Would you cancel these 25 lines and then ask for a credit?One of these would result in a 10 year credit on these 25 lines.. You need to learn the proper telecommunication order processing procedures needed to place orders. If orders aren't placed correctly and accurate records maintained you will not have the information required to gain refunds or credits that are due your company.
